Spring 2022 Palettes
With Spring just around the corner, we’re at that place where we’re brushing off our Spring & Summer items while refreshing our wardrobes with updates. This Spring’s palette stays fairly consistent with the colors featured last year with a bit of a twist. The blooming colors of green, yellow, pink and blue continues to reign.
We are still seeing pink – in a variety of shades from hot pink to a soft pale pink.
Depending on your skin tone and style there is an array of choices. There are also new color combinations trending this year that I am finding to be dramatic and fun!
This year I took my inspiration from Zara’s 2022 Spring Collection. They’ve brought back the same color palette from last year but are now showing bolder and innovative ways to mix them up.
Grass Green.
Just in time for St. Patricks’ Day, green is on trend, especially green in the color of newly sprouted grass. You can use it as an anchor color or to accentuate with pinks, yellows or blues.
Green and Pink is a color combo in favor. Be it a green base with pink accents or using green as a burst of color in your shoes, earrings, or handbags. Together these two colors make an impressive statement.
A nice neutral for this combo is also nude or white shoes and handbags.
I love my oversized green flowy shirt and wide leg pants worn as one solid look or mixed with white or pink!
Green and yellow. These two colors are from the same spectrum and work very well together. Personally, I like them in the paler muted tones mixed with white. Finding a print or plaid in these colors is a great way to create some fun spring looks and stretches your wardrobe to incorporate other elements such as white and denim.
Green and Blue. You can mix these two colors in the jewel tones or lighter tones. Like green and yellow, green with blue is a lively and energetic fusion of colors.
Pink and Orange. Another dynamic duo and sure to turn heads. You can go bold as featured here or I also like the idea of different shades of one color worn together a soft pale green with a darker grassy green. Light pink with hot pink. The combinations are endless.
This Spring pull out some of your colors from last year only be playful- mix it up with one or more of these color combinations. The fun part of styling is you don’t have to purchase a brand-new wardrobe every season, use what you have, add a few new “pops” and re-invent it to transform your Spring and Summer wardrobe for 2022!
Have a Styling Day!
XOXO
